Agentic AI marketing is AI that carries out marketing tasks across multiple steps on its own: deciding what to do next and taking that action inside connected tools, instead of just generating a suggestion for a human to act on.
The distinction from generative AI is action versus suggestion. Generative AI drafts an email. Agentic AI evaluates the recipient, chooses which email fits, sends it, and moves the contact into the next sequence, all without a person deciding each step.
