Narrative Arc

A narrative arc is the shape of a story: setup, tension, turn, resolution. Even short-form business content works better when it follows one, because human brains are wired to complete story patterns they recognize.

The most effective LinkedIn posts and short essays are structured as micro-stories: a scene, a problem, an insight, a takeaway. Bullet-point posts underperform because they skip the tension that makes readers care.
