Listicle

A listicle is content structured as a numbered list: “7 things”, “10 mistakes”, “5 frameworks”. The format works because it promises finite scope and easy scanning up front.

Overused, listicles read as low-effort filler. Well-executed, they can be the fastest way to deliver a lot of value in a scannable format. The trick is depth per item, not just quantity.
