Title Tag

A title tag is the HTML element that defines the title of a web page. It appears as the clickable headline in search results and as the browser tab label. Length matters: Google truncates at around 60 characters, so the promise has to land in the first 50.

Title tags are the highest-leverage single field in on-page SEO. A rewrite from generic (“Home | Company Name”) to specific (“Marketing Automation for $5M+ B2B Companies | Miss Pepper AI”) routinely lifts click-through rate by 20–40% without changing anything else.
