First-Party Data

First-party data is customer information a business collects directly through its own channels: website behavior, purchase history, email interactions, support conversations, account information. Distinct from third-party data purchased from external providers.

As third-party cookies disappear, first-party data becomes the foundation of all customer-facing marketing. Businesses that invested in collecting, unifying, and activating first-party data have a durable advantage over ones that relied on ad-platform tracking.
