Inbound Lead

An inbound lead is a prospect who initiated contact with a business, typically by filling out a form, requesting a demo, downloading a lead magnet, or booking a call directly. Inbound leads convert at 5–10x the rate of cold outbound.

Building an inbound engine takes time (usually 6–12 months to compound) but pays off with lower CAC, shorter sales cycles, and higher-quality conversations. Most growing B2B companies need both inbound and outbound.
